Limsod v0.10.0


Hello everyone !

We are very happy to present you the long awaited update. As expected, all the new features announced in the last patch are here (even with little extras!).

Also, to answer many questions and queries, no, this will not be the last update, other content updates are planned as including the arrival of the story mode that will close the beta.

Here is a list of what we have been working on:


ZOMBIES


    Normal zombie:

            • Added random style to normal zombie spawn

            • Added 270 new styles for the normal zombie

            • Added 10 new animations for the normal zombie

            • Added size variation to the normal zombie spawn

            • Modification of the speed of the normal zombie (600 -> 450)

            • Modification of the attack delay of the normal zombie (2.63s -> 1.5s)

            • Removal of the old style of the normal zombie


    Brute zombie:

            • Added size variation to the brute zombie spawn

            • Modification of all brute zombie animations

            • Modification of the speed of the brute zombie (600 -> 100)

            • Modification of the texture of the brute zombie


    Healer zombie:

            • Added size variation to the healer zombie spawn

            • Added particles when adding life to a zombie healer kill

            • Added heal sound when adding life to a zombie healer kill

            • Modification of all healer zombie animations

            • Modification of the speed of the healer zombie (600 -> 400)

            • Changing the texture of the zombie healer visor

            • Optimization of the zombie healer


    Toxic zombie:

            • Added size variation to the toxic zombie spawn

            • Added 5 points of damage when the toxic zombie touches us while we are already under the effect of poison

            • Modification of all toxic zombie animations

            • Modification of the speed of the toxic zombie (600 -> 450)

            • Modification of the zombie toxic texture

            • Optimization of the zombie toxic


    New Sprinter zombie:

            • Added sprinter zombie:

              > The zombie has a speed of 650

              > The zombie has 50 health points

              > The zombie causes 3 health points damage

            •  Added sprinter zombie spawn rate to 0.017 on easy difficulty

            •  Added sprinter zombie spawn rate to 0.02 on normal difficulty

            •  Added sprinter zombie spawn rate to 0.025 on hard difficulty

            •  Added sprinter zombie informations to the Zombie Information menu

            •  Added the number of sprinter zombie killed in the statistics

            •  Added 15 points to zombie death with Points Race game mode

            •  Added 3s to zombie death with Time Saving game mode

            •  The sprinter zombie causes 2 points of damage to the antenna of the Defense game mode


    New Explosive zombie:

            • Added explosive zombie:

              > The zombie emits an explosion at its death causing 25 points of damage

              > The zombie has a speed of 200

              > The zombie has 200 health points

              > The zombie causes 5 health points damage

            •  Added explosive zombie spawn rate to 0.015 on easy difficulty

            •  Added explosive zombie spawn rate to 0.017 on normal difficulty

            •  Added explosive zombie spawn rate to 0.02 on hard difficulty

            •  Added explosive zombie informations to the Zombie Information menu

            •  Added the number of explosive zombie killed in the statistics

            •  Added 50 points to zombie death with Points Race game mode

            •  Added 10s to zombie death with Time Saving game mode

            •  The explosive zombie causes 10 points of damage to the antenna of the Defense game mode


    New Armored zombie:

            • Added armored zombie:

              > The zombie has a shield around him that allows him to take several additional damages

              > The shield has 200 health points

            •  Added armored zombie spawn rate to 0.02 on easy difficulty

            •  Added armored zombie spawn rate to 0.025 on normal difficulty

            •  Added armored zombie spawn rate to 0.03 on hard difficulty

            •  Added armored zombie informations to the Zombie Information menu

            •  Added the number of armored zombie killed in the statistics

            •  Added 24 points to zombie death with Points Race game mode

            •  Added 4s to zombie death with Time Saving game mode

            •  The armored zombie causes 2 points of damage to the antenna of the Defense game mode


            • Added the body of the zombie on the ground once dead (then disappears after 45s)

            • Added 54 new sounds for zombies

            • Added several hit reaction animations to zombies

            • Added when a bullet passes very close to a zombie without hitting it, the zombie is redirected to the player

            • Added when the player passes very close to a zombie (and the zombie does not see the player), the zombie is redirected to the player

            • Added training sprinter zombie

            • Added training explosive zombie

            • Added training armored zombie

            • Modification of all zombie sounds

            • Modification of the zombie spawn system

            • Fixed the bullets in the head of the zombies which counted the classic bullet + the bullet in the head

            • Fixed bullets that passed through several zombies

            • Optimization of training zombie animations


MELEE


            • Added melee feature

            •  Inflicts 50 points of damage to zombies

            •  Melee unusable when aiming, shooting, reloading, inspecting the weapon and sprinting

            •  Added default key [V] to use the melee (customizable in the controls)

            •  Added statistic: Zombies hit with melee

            •  Melee disabled with Preview game mode


GAME MODES


            • Added Melee game mode:

             •  Added quest: "Play 100 times on Melee game mode"

             •  Added statistic: "Max zombie kills (mode Melee)"

             •  Added statistic: "Melee game mode played"

            • Added the use of a healbox add 5s to the timer with the game mode time saving

            • Added the use of a grenade add 3s to the timer with the game mode time saving

            • Added a button to choose which training zombie appears with the Training game mode

            • Added the option to enable or disable the spawn of sprinter zombies with the custom game mode

            • Added the option to enable or disable the spawn of explosive zombies with the custom game mode

            • Added the option to enable or disable the spawn of armored zombies with the custom game mode

            • Added 1HP option to Custom game mode (with this option, healboxes are destroyed at the beginning of the game)

            • Added Zombie Damages option to custom game mode customization (customizable in x0.5, x1, x2, x5)

            • Slight modification of objects on the Training game mode map

            • Improved zombie detection with the antenna of the defense game mode

            • Fixed special zombie spawn choices that didn't work with the custom game mode

            • Fixed the remaining life number of the antenna which could be negative for a short time


GRENADE


            • Added damage according to the distance of the point of impact of the grenade and the player

            • Added spatialization and attenuation for the sound of the grenade explosion

            • Modification of the grenade range (500 -> 1000)

            • Modification of the damage of the grenade for the player (max 25 -> 100)

            • Modification of the damage of the grenade for the zombies (max 25 -> 150)

            • Changed the camera shake radius when the grenade explodes (500 -> 1500)

            • Slight modification of the grenade throwing trajectory

            • Fixed the trace left at the explosion of the grenade which was sometimes not visible


AMMO


            • Added a ammunition box dropped by the zombies to their deaths

              > The ammunition box disappears after 45s

              > The ammunition box gives randomly 2/3/4/5 bullets

            • Added an indication on the screen when adding bullets

            • Added statistic: Ammunition boxes collected

            • Added the possibility to cancel the reloading of the weapon only if there are still bullets in the magazine

            • Added that the bullet is derived when the crosshair is large

            • Added when the player does not move, the accuracy of the ball is 100%.

            • Removal of bullets given directly to the player when a zombie dies


MENUS/HUD


            • Added a white hitmarker when a bullet hits a zombie

            • Added an animation to the head hitmarker

            • Added an indication on the screen when a zombie is killed

            • Added bug return in the pause menu during the game

            • Added that the pause menu in game, really pauses the game

            • Added a new category of icons to the profile edit icon menu

            • Fixed the zombies that spawned in the air on the Jungle map

  Additions:

            • Added the possibility of sprinting while reloading

            • Added the possibility of sprinting while shooting

            • Added blood on the arms when the player's life is below 25HP

            • Added laser sight upgrade: adds a laser to the weapon and add 1 point of accuracy

            • Added quick reload upgrade: reduces the weapon reload time and add 1 magazine point

  Corrections:

            • Fixed the "times hit zombies" statistic that counted twice

            • Fixed buyable lobby music that was not in loop

            • Fixed lobby music that changes in real time in the inventory (no need to restart the game)

            • Fixed blood that did not appear at the exact location of the impact on a zombie

            • Fixed the slowmo key that was in "none" when the input was reset

            • Fixed to be able to jump in the air

            • Fixed some decals that could be rendered on arms, weapon and accessories

            • Fixed the blood particles that did not appear in the last bullet before the zombies died


  Optimizations:

            • Optimization of level rewards system

            • Optimization of the player
